Orthopedic Surgery Center of Palm Beach County is dedicated to providing transparent information to our patients related to financial obligations for healthcare services. The best way for patients to determine their out-of-pocket costs in advance of their visit to Center is to contact their insurance company. However, patients may request an estimate of anticipated charges for non-emergency care from Center.
In order for Center to provide future patients with a good faith estimate, your physician’s office must have already scheduled your surgery or procedure with the center. Upon request and as required by Florida Law, the center will provide to prospective patients an estimate of gross charges, before any adjustment for your healthcare plans or self-pay discounts in writing within seven (7) business days. To request such estimate, please contact our Center at 561-300-1400.
Patients are advised to contact the health care practitioners anticipated to provide services to the patient while in the center regarding a personalized estimate, billing practices and participation with the patient’s insurance provider or health maintenance organization (HMO) as the practitioners may not participate with the same health insurers or HMO as the center and will be billing separately. Patients can click below to find data on health care costs for national, state, and county prices at Florida Health Price Finder, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) pricing website.
The service bundle information is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred by the patient for anticipated services and actual costs will be based on services actually provided to the patient at the time of their procedure.
