​Max Mondestin, M.D is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon that specializes in the spine. He has extensive training and experience in treating all patients who want to maximize their potential to be active and to get back to enjoying life.

Dr. Mondestin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University. He then obtained his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Mondestin went on to complete his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following his residency, he was accepted into Johns Hopkins University Spine Surgery Fellowship where he underwent training in traditional and minimally invasive approaches to spine surgery.

Dr. Mondestin is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He has a wide variety of interests ranging from the treatment of degenerative spine disease, spinal stenosis, disc herniations, scoliosis and spinal trauma.
