Dr. Cohn is a fellowship-trained board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in disorders from the shoulder to the hand. He has expertise in shoulder replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, and fracture surgery. He is experienced with the use of biologics such as PRP, bone marrow concentrate, and amniotic tissue for those patients preferring nonoperative treatment for their arthritis or tendonitis.

Dr. Cohn is also a golf medicine expert and scratch golfer. He’s certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, the world’s leading educational organization and research facility dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

He was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After graduating from Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale, he attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Miami, where he was inducted into the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed a 5-year orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan. Following his orthopedic surgery residency, he completed an additional year of specialized fellowship training in surgery of the hand and upper extremity at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases,
